Once again this year, I had the honour to be part of the volunteer team of the Ottawa Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual Gala. Together with my good friend and colleague Leon Switzer, (Total Photo) we were more than happy to provide photographic services for the event.
Here are a few shots of an evening filled with generosity, fun and most of all, hope to all the children and young adults afflicted with this fatal genetic disease.

Robert has CF. Despite this fatal genetic disease, he is a triathlete and is now training for the Boston Marathon! A video featuring Robert and his struggles with CF was shown tonight and at times, many were brought to tears, but on the other hand, he offers inspiration and hope for countless CF patients.
Jason Spezza with Jessica Forsyth, last years CF Champion and Kelsey Lett. Both young ladies have CF.
The JW Jones Band rocked the house and provided an evening of fantastic entertainment!
Max Keeping of CTV Ottawa was the MC for the evening. Max is such an eloquent speaker and his heartfelt care and enthusiasm clearly shows.
