A few shots from last nights 2012 Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards Gala
Pete Townsend was the special guest at the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards Gala last night at the National Art Centre.
Pete was playing with Des McAnuff, a theater director who brought The Who’s Tommy to Broadway in 1992. McAnuff was also a laureate this year.

Writer Salman Rushdie was on hand to pay tribute to Deepa Mehta
South Park’s Matt Stone payed tribute to Rush’s Alex Lifeson, Neil Peart and Geddy Lee.
Colm Feore was the host for the evening.
